Growing up in northern Utah, stories were very big for my family. Some of my fondest memories are those of my parents reading a book to me and my younger siblings, especially when it involved a supernatural or fantasy element! Most birthdays were punctuated by a special trip to the movies to see Jack Sparrow wrestle an octopus or Spider-Man face his latest villain. Back home, we’d reenact our favorite scenes, always quick to call dibs on the right to play our favorite character.

A few years on, my brother and I got it in our heads that we wanted to tell our own stories. I look back on it and laugh now, but that really is where we cut our teeth, fumbling about, trying to produce something on the level of a Steven Spielberg or Peter Jackson with a budget of $11.

At 21, I graduated summa cum laude from Dixie State University (now Utah Tech University) with a bachelor’s degree in media with an emphasis in digital film production. Storytelling remains a very big part of my life, as it is now my career!

In 2021, I moved to Salt Lake City and started my own company, Blue Mint Media. Since then, I've worked hard to develop a reputation as a dependable, well-mannered and creative event shooter. Whether my work is in service of a massive corporate gala or a small gathering of friends, I strive to capture the emotion and energy of the moment with precision and tact. It’s my philosophy that the best content, be that a single image, 30-second Instagram reel, or feature-length film, tells an engaging story!

When I’m not working on videos, I enjoy watching artsy films, hitting the gym, and seeing live music.
