The transportive power of the human form. The story of a scar or wrinkle. The subtle mix of emotions conveyed by a look. With all due respect to landscape, product and wildlife photographers, there is nothing more exciting to capture than the likeness of a person. A human subject becomes a collaborator in the story of each photo, whether they realize it or not. It’s my job to encourage and respect this collaboration (within the individual’s comfort level).
